Bula Vinaka Bloggers and today I'm going to be sharing and talking about the Cicada SLJ Task! It was mostly about learning about cicada's. It Interesting to read about the life cycle of a nymph I was wondering if After A lady Cicada lays her eggs if she can mate again, I mean just asking the more cicada's the better I guess. I enjoyed this task and I just wanted to say that I am so surprised that there are 43 different types of Cicada's In New Zealand!!!
My Cicada Life cycle
Bula Vinaka Karolina,
ReplyDeleteI am working as a Manaiakalani Outreach facilitator in schools.
It's great to see you enjoyed learning about cicadas. I know, so many species of cicada in NZ! I think you would need to be a super expert to tell them all apart and of course they live in different parts of Aotearoa so you don't get to see them all together.
The idea of the What you would do is about you not the cicada, although what you wrote was fun!
Ngā mihi,
Maria

ReplyDeleteMy name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. It was Awesome that you shared your mahi with your fellow bloggers.I really enjoyed the layout of your presentation, it was clear and concise. Overall it was a very enagianing and educational presentation of the Cicadas life cycle- Ka Pai!!!!
Cicadas are very loud, they easily rival construction equipment and motorcycles, however, also find that when there are a few of them the sound they make can be relaxing especially when you are enjoying the summer sun. Have you seen cicadas in real life? What do you think about them?
I cant wait ti see what you come up with with your next blog post. Maybe have a go at creating the timeline, as it is awesome to think about possible goals and future milestones.
Keep up the Super work and have a Super Summer!!!
Ngā mihi,
Quein
Thanks Quein For the lovely comment and compliments!
