  2. Kia ora Karolina,

Great work completing this weeks kick start and step it up poetry slam activities. Awesome that you had done magnetic poetry in class before! Do you enjoy this style of poetry more than other styles?

Awesome work discussing the history of magnetic poetry and explaining this very clearly to us! I definitely learnt a few facts from your video.

Great job being cyber smart and asking for permission before using someone else's words. You’ve crafted some wonderful poems, well done!

    Ngā mihi,
    Lauren

    2. Kia ora Karolina,

Haiku poems are very fun and interesting to write! They have a lot of structure which makes them both easier (because you can't use many syllables) but also harder (because you have to use specific syllables!).

I prefer magnetic poetry! It's a little different but I love to write poems using only words taken from one page of a book, they're very fun to write and you can be creative with the words.

Hope you're having a fantastic summer.

      Ngā mihi,
      Lauren
