Chris here, again. Tēnā koe for completing another task! You’ve done so many now!
Nice work on zhuzhing up your blue t-shirt with a butterfly image, did you have anything around at home that you could do this to in real life? Or do you prefer doing the digital versions of such tasks? The story was a fun touch, nice work on your animation- you clearly enjoy doing those!
Looking forward to seeing what you post over these last couple of weeks!
My name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. I really enjoyed the blue butterfly t-shirt, I think the calm blue and the butterfly gives awesome positive summer vibes. We were also very impressed by the story that you created using digital technologies. It is fantastic to see you learning and using the tools and skills that you have already learnt to complete the task- Well Done!!! I was very impressed once again that you spoke clearly and confidently and the positivity and enthusiasm definitely shone through your blog which brightens up my day and you would inspire your fellow bloggers.
You should be very proud of you mahi, I love the designs and your fantastic creativity.
Keep up the Super work I look forward to your next blog post!!!
Bula Vinaka Quein! I really do like the calm blue its cool that you do too! I tried my best for the story, so thanks for noticing. I'm happy that I got to brighten your day the best I could!
Oh Karolina! I just LOVED your animation of the 'Nobody Laughed' story! I have never seen anyone use the Storyboard app in this way so successfully. You had me engaged right away and I couldn't stop watching! I found it really interesting that you chose a tutu to be the secret item in the bag - the object that Aiden would be embarrassed about. I was thinking that boys doing ballet is still something that can be the cause for ridicule and embarrassment from others - in other words, that for some boys, having an interest in ballet is considered a girl's passion and not for boys. Is that what you were thinking?
On the technical side, I was wondering how you got to change the facial expressions of the characters? Did you have different ones saved and switched between the paused video? I would really like to try this myself so would appreciate your feedback.
Look forward to your reply Naomi (Manaiakalani Facilitator)
Bula Vinaka Naomi, I think ballet is for everyone when I used to be in Tap class and Ballet class I used to see boys a lot! There were faces you were able to choose from and yes, I did pause the video to switch the faces. Thanks for you lovely comment good bye!
Kia ora Karolina!
